Love the description of the 4D bid. 11 point range and 14 cards.
I am of course aware that North will not have 20 total points partly from my hand and the opposition bidding, and partly because I am in the privileged position of knowing that I have the strongest HCP hand at the table. But I confess that I expected my major suit honours to be working a bit harder than they were. I am not a fan of sacrificing against a partscore at the 4 level, so while North certainly had max D support I was expecting a bit better overall.
