South played 7♠ on the ♦T lead, east playing the three. No matter how south played the hand, he could not escape a very unlucky down one despite his best efforts.
The bidding was a standard jacoby 2NT auction.
What were the approximate east/west hands if west had both missing queens and at least 3 hearts as well as 3 spades?
