Doesn't Belgium have some kind of national bridge association*, or is everything divided by language? Is the bilingual Brussel/Bruxelles included in your statistics?

* According to the European Bridge League website, the "Belgian Bridge Federation" has 7,561 members.

There is one flemish association (VBL) and one french association (LBF). Additionally there is the national association (BBF) that has two members: the two other associations.

Turkish Bridge Federation ( www.tbricfed.org.tr ) has 10429 licenced players, and 3032 of them are active.

Male/Female ratio is like : 8696 / 1733

Bridge is very popular in Turkey. Last (December 2013) Mixed Pairs Championship has been played by 160 pairs. Last Turkish Open Pairs Championship (May 2013) has been played by 311 pairs. These numbers are notable and really remarkable.

In Istanbul there are more than 10 Bridge Clubs almost all of them are open 6 days a week.

Each club has an evening session once in a week.
