After the unopposed bidding 1♦-1♠-1nt and a ♣Q lead it is up to you:

Dummy:
♠Q8xx

♥9x

♦QJx

♣K8xx

Hand:
♠KJ

♥AQxx

♦A8xx

♣97x

You go up with the king (agree?). RHO wins the ace and switches to a low heart.

I would not have played K of C, having done so I let the H switch run to my 9.

leads like the Q most often are combinations like AQJ or QJT. If the opening
lead is anything like thiat it does no harm to play low at trick 1 especially since
lho cannot switch to anything that will give you immediate problems.

Agree with McPhee that letting the heart switch run to the 9 appears best for now. Lets
see how the opps defend this one we need some help.

LHO wins with the T. Cashes the ♣J to see his partner discard the ♠2 (which is a signal for diamonds). Then he continues with the ♥8 for the 9, J and your Q. Now you again.
