Sometimes GIB is fool for bidding opening responses strictly following 6HCP for such a response bid (of course not always so that it pass out 2NT rebid) - I so many times have to open with 2C on such powerful types of hands.

Not one of GIB’s wildest transgressions, compared with some things that it does. I can imagine this being replicated by some humans. Note, change Q to x and game is no worse. Would you then criticise Pass? It is hands like this that gave birth to Precision
Psych (pron. saik): A gross and deliberate misstatement of honour strength and/or suit length. Expressly permitted under Law 73E but forbidden contrary to that law by Acol club tourneys.

Psyche (pron. sahy-kee): The human soul, spirit or mind (derived, personification thereof, beloved of Eros, Greek myth).
Masterminding (pron. mPosted ImagesPosted ImagetPosted Imager-mPosted ImagendPosted Imageing) tr. v. - Any bid made by bridge player with which partner disagrees.

"Gentlemen, when the barrage lifts." 9th battalion, King's own Yorkshire light infantry,
2000 years earlier: "morituri te salutant"

"I will be with you, whatever". Blair to Bush, precursor to invasion of Iraq

GIB needs 6+TP ( not HCP ) to enter 1-1

So here would be absolutely sufficient queen not to be in doubleton suit, but somewhere else. That will make 6+TP.

Unlucky hand indeed.

Almost as unlucky if you were on 4 and West had singleton club. Club - club ruff, diamond shift , club for -1.
