I consider this a non-problem if playing an approach-forcing system. Anything other than 1NT is a violation of both system and trust ans smacks of masterminding the hand. Partner may well be about to jump shift to 3C for all we know. Pass is simply not a possible bid in my opinion.

Thanks you all for the answers.
Bidding was:
1-(pass)-1NT-(Pass)
2-AP
Result: 2-4 (-400)

At other table the result was 1 by East: Result -1 (-50)
(Not sure, but I think that Opps at other table played strong Club and 1M showing 13-15 points; 1 used for all other hands with 10+ pts and bidding probably was: (1)-1-AP).

My partner played this contract and I don't know the full hands (I think she had 11HCP and 3=6=3=1).

Thanks for sharing the result. I guess had you passed, you would be bringing back -300 rather than -400 to add to your teammates -50.
I hope that the 2 imps did not decide the match.
These things happen. I am pleased to have bid 1NT just as you did.
