MP, robot tourney, best hand South.
Not complaining about the result (2H+3 = 200; 100%). But that was more luck than judgement (plus a bit of help in the defence). But the bidding is the thing. Why not pass 2C? On the bidding I *might* be just 4-5 in H and C, but I think that the odds rather favour a 6th Club. And not 5th Heart.
Is this simply an example of GIB exercising its "MP strategy" (Hearts scoring more, assuming of course that it makes)? If so, then I still think it should pass 2C.
I can sort of understand GIB going off the rails after 8 rounds of bidding with doubles and redoubles all over the shop, but in an uncontested auction at the 2 level??
