What do you do now? Assume "standard" methods, nothing fancy. Please explain your reasoning.

Support with support the first time. I suppose pass to 3X was some kind of tactical effort to get them to underbid or something, but I don't really understand the bid and I don't like it. 4. Now we got, what we deserved. Forced to guess, I would try 5.

I would also ask myself why I didn't raise the previous round. I made my decision a round earlier it makes no sense to bid 5 now so I would pass.

Agree to bid 4 when I had the chance, and I'm not particularly fond of the 2 opening either. Neither is a hanging offense though. Might as well pass now, at least I have a defensive card.

edit: oops the poll asked for expert opinion and I don't have one of those.

I'd like to assume that we had discussed the meaning of 3 here. What is our agreement?

At least 6 clubs, shortage in hearts. No specific agreement as to high card values.

OK, but is there an agreement as to whether 3 is forcing, invitational or a sign-off?

Hm. Not my agreement, so I'm not sure. I'll get back to you.

I agree that failing to bid 4C was an egregious error. I pass now.

Wouldn't redouble last round have shown CA or CK as Rozencrantz?
Surely little need for another meaning is there?

It usually shows Ax or Kx, not genuine support as you have here. Using xx to show genuine support is fatuous and gives the opps more room.

If you didn't raise your partner on the previous round, you're posting this in the wrong forum...
