Butler, All red, you deal:

AQ
Q9x
KQJxxxx
x

1-1
3-3
?

Recently I had witnessed the following:

KJTx
KJ9x
9xx
Tx

1-1
3-3NT

And 5 tricks were taken by the defense before we could make 9 (clubs got blocked). Someone offered 3 as a possible solution, to show spades and let partner in on the decision to play 3NT. Here a similar thing happened, how would you have played?

Also, he rates to not have a heart void when he leads the 3.

In the first auction you gave i would bid 3 by opener.

Second auction, the suggestion to solve the issue is valid imo. Not only due to the fear of losing 5 fast club tricks in 3NT when we have fit and decent major holdings to play a 4-3 4M, but also right siding the 3NT contract if thats where we belong to. Assume pd has AQ or Kx

opener is unbalanced and they opted to rebid 3d (rather than 2h) so it is
not possible they have 4 hearts. They have also limited their hand with
the 3d bid. The 3h bid does not promise 5 hearts but if responder does
not have 5 hearts they have a serious problem with clubs for nt.

Opener's hand has just improved due to either a heart fit and/or responder
having little wasted values in clubs. How does opener account for all the
possibilities

4c

Opener could bid 3s with 3 card spade support 3n with clubs adequately
stopped (even with 3 hearts) 4h to show 3 card heart support and no
club control.

The 4c bid is less accurate overall on its meaning (aside from showing a
club control and 3 hearts) but it denies the other holdings and keeps the
bidding relatively low if responder is interested in slam. If responder
happens to be looking at the club A they will be very happy indeed to
hear that 4c bid.

In deal 2 the 3s rebid (vs 3n) is very reasonable and gives your side the
chance to play 3n 4/5 diamonds (most will not be able to stop in 4d though).
