-1nt supposedly is "balanced minimum" and promises 2+ cards in all suits. I don't think this should be the case on this auction. Responder can have various x55x hands that aren't strong enough for 2D, that have not much option other than 1nt. 1nt should probably be 3- s, 3-C, 4-5H, 2+D. Maybe 4-C.
- 2♣ is described as 3- H; 4+ S; 11-21 HCP; biddable C; 12-22 total points
This 2♣ should be exactly 4 spades, and 6+ clubs not just biddable C, and should have upper limit of maybe 14 HCP, 16 total points?
-2♠, I think shouldn't exist on this auction, I would always pass, unless maybe 3550 but then would try 2 diamonds? GIB should be passing with 1+ clubs, it already denied invitational values with 1nt so I don't see that it should be bidding again. Maybe only with a super max 1nt and a club fit where it can try 2nt.
I bid 3♣ since GIB promised some clubs but I'd rather be in 2. Of course on actual hand I'd like to be in 3nt but it's a lucky layout.
