I'm assuming hearts are 4-3 with LHO having Jxxx

Having got to this point, you have two possible lines:
1. Play the D10.
2. Play AK and a third diamond

You know LHO has one club left, and the carding indicates he probably has two clubs left, but he might have lied.
The diamond finesse makes when
- RHO has has Qx or Qxx in diamonds (unlikely if LHO is 4-4 in the rounded suits)
- RHO has Qxxx in diamonds and either clubs are 3-3 or RHO is 4342 with the SK
If the diamond finesse loses you are basically off. He can cash the long heart and exit in clubs

Playing diamonds from the top makes when
- either hand has Qx of diamonds
- RHO has Qxx diamonds and is endplayed as above
- RHO has Qxxx in diamonds and clubs are 3-3

I think overall this makes playing them from the top superior, but I don't have the energy to calculate it right now

Thanks Frances!
Do you agree with play till now? (I didn't like the blockage I got, but I don't know if I should have played differently
