nasty annoying messages
When I play in the tournament , I see very often , lately more and more, messages about start of some tournament. Since I am already playing I cannot play them. Those messages are annoying and sometime making difficult to communicate at a table.
I consider them as a junk mail / it is junk mail / and nobody with good character will not use them anyway. Could be possible to turn them off at least for player already involved in tournament ?
I would consider this as a biggest improvement since you start here.

When playing in a tourney, the only messages you will see are broadcast messages - and these are reserved for a few tourneys, usually pay-to-play ones like ACBL. These messages are usually infrequent (several minutes apart, and no more than three about any given tourney), so they shouldn't clutter your chat much.
If you're seeing messages other than broadcast ones, that's a different story.

I disagree - UNLESS you have "ignore lobby messages" set on your private settings - I reallt would like BBO to be able to set "ignore ALL but TOURNAY" messages when I'm playing in a specific tourney

i usually ask, or am asked, privately... one of my pet peeves is the flooding of lobby chat... usually it's just some jerk posting the same message 10 times

i am very *surprised* that you wanted *YOUR* gal to bring you a bobble-headed Elvis as i can only imagine that the head that God graced you with scores quite high on the bobblemeter....

And Fred, Jimmy (aka Luke Worm , Bobble-Belly) uses the possessive pronoun quite indiscriminately when it comes to wummin...As i recall, according to him, even Julie Roberts and Fay Dunaway were once alpha females in his distinguished NuuuuuuAwlins harem.....So i wouldn't take him very seriously...

However, in this particular case, i can bashfully say that I could use the aforesaid possessive pronoun with a bit more credibility than our Young Pretender, Mr Bobble-Belly. However, i darent mainly because of a legal loop-hole in my Life Insurance Policy and because there are certain daemons within Aisha's head that are best left unperturbed...

May I say though, had what Jimmy purported contained but a shred of veracity, he would have been very lucky.

Nice to know that Aisha came to visit you... I hope the fumigation process of the whole house after her departure was not too messy...
