Spyware?

Since when does BBO contain Spyware??? Spysweeper found "Hacker Wacker" in one of the BBO files!!! :rolleyes:

alot of spyware implants itself randomly into commonly used files; just because it was found in the bbo files, doesn't mean it came with bbo - which i'm quite sure it didn't.

I dont' know what a 'hacker wacker' is, and I'm sure I don't care to, but whatever it is, it did not originate here.

If you want to be positive, send me a copy of the infected file via email (uday@) and I'll see if i can find anything. Of course, it could just be a false positive with Spysweeper as well.

Ofcourse I removed the spyware, so I don't have the infected file anymore... However I have a screenshot of spysweeper finding the stuff.

The infected file was irunin.lng

I have 3 irunin files in each of BM200, BBO and Points Schmoints Demo directories!

I dont have a Spyware scanner,will look for Spysweeper.

irunin.lng is a language/localization file (as the filename extension suggests),
and it's a pure text file as one can see when the file is loaded into any text editor.
The file is dated 2002, so it is not updated or written to recently -
hardly a spyware related item.
I usually open with 13 cards
