If North wants to sign off in 3N after South showed 22-24, North's point range should be a whole lot smaller than 3-14HCP.

just curious did you actually stop and look to see what GIBs 3NT bid meant before you passed
so 3+ should suffice, I would assume GIB had what you expected it to have for this type of auction, If
south actually believes North could have 14 on this auction then I guess you could bid 4NT, but we know
no sane person is going to do that.

I'm more concerned about a potential future hand, where I hold the weak hand and bid the same way that GIB did here, but GIB (not necessarily being a "sane person") simulates his next action based on the description that I hold 3-14 points (instead of, say, 3-7) and bids more.

I Fully understand only one way to find out
give it a try, GIB already does enough weird stuff
I guess the bidding alogrithim doesnt match up to the discriptions
which is why it makes it hard cause alot of times we click to find out what
gibs bids mean and then get blasted in the process when dummy comes down
case:
GIB shows balances 11-14 hcp
4NT shows 19-20hcp invites 6NT
so gib accepts on min values
