Sorry, I don't know how to put in the play yet, it went small club to the king and then ace (opps aren't sure what their leads are) and heart switch, if you play small LHO also plays small. Don't assume opps have a plan.

assuming the heart 7 held the trick i am going to try the dia J next there are an enormous
number of variations depending on covers/switches. My main theme is to set up dia for
discards and try and keep lho off lead to guard against a spade switch.

Did you mean small spade lead? Because you don't have any club honor in the diagram.

That looks smarter than my winning the J, playing back a heart to the Q and A, small diamond to Q, panic and playing back a small diamond to the J. I had to repeat 'small diamond' three times to my partner before I got him to do it.
