I can't imagine being dealt a 12 count with 2 aces and a 6 card suit that I wouldn't happily open at the 1 level.

How many aces is that then?

But I'd open 1S anyway.
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.

One ace, but 2.5 QT and looks routine to open 1.

There are bridge players, who look at their hand, besides counting points.
Not everybody counts QJ,Jx as 4 HCP, neither am I convinced this to be such a good idea. I would happily exchange them for a king and then certainly open 1.
I also would prefer x,AQxxxx,Axx,xxx for a 1 opening.
2 aces and the six card suit are nice, the rest is rubbish.

As one infamous poster would say for me, just one.

I do not like too much that "infamous".
But I know you mean it well.
