I would like to be notify when a friend logs in. However dislike it to be shown as bubble.
Could the bubble be disabled?

I guess the following will do the trick:

click your name -> friend/enemies -> uncheck the "notify me when a friend logs in"

I agree. Bubbles, as well as all forms of "tooltips", hotspot pop-ups, menus, etc., (ANYthing that pops up on top of what I'm trying to read without me actually clicking the mouse) are quite annoying. The entire BBO package is nothing but hotspots and pop-ups. I like to move my mouse over what I'm looking for and then click to see information.

It would be nice if there were an option to allow those of us who dislike hotspots to be able to turn them off. (The mouse single-click would then be used to pop the info box, and a double click would be necessary to perform the function now performed by a single click.)

If the bridge players weren't so good in the BBO rooms, I'd probably play elsewhere.
