I don't see how it can be an unusual notrump overcall when they have bid diamonds (we don't try and play in opponent's suits) and partner has bid clubs (if you have clubs you can raise them). And if you had one or other or both of the majors, you would have bid them the first time. Can you access the hand record? I am curious.
