GIB opening bids

Why does GIB not open 1♦ ?
This is a good minimum hand.
I have seen GIB opening 5-4 hands with bad 11 HCP ( J or Q in short suits ) and 5-5 with bad 10 HCP.

Same idea... Interesting or coincidence that both hands are long in diamonds?

Hand#1 and similar with good 6th minor were tweaked in last update, so it will be opening hands.

No, not yet.

Could be addressed for next update hands with 5m4M and clear values out of shortness.
