It only sees 11 total points since it doesn't count an extra point for a doubleton with the K in it, and since it counts 1 less for any doubleton containing honors, it has the flaw that 10 and 5 of diamonds is actually worth a negative point.

Edit: Let me reword that. It's not actually negative 1 point, but it's just not gaining the point for the doubleton because it has honors. It is worth 1 fewer point than a doubleton that did not have honors. I don't see how 10 5 can be worse than 3 2 but that's how it calculates total points.
