rebid opening suit after free bid need upper limit

3h should be limited to 14 total pts or so. Maybe 15.

Interesting. If it only has a 5-card suit, it will only rebid it with 17- total points. But if it has a 6-card suit it will bid it with any points. That does seem wrong.

Is 17- shorthand for a bad 17, or did you mean 17+?

GIB shorthand- 17- is 17 or less total points.
