The Future Stars Sectional is being held at the Vancouver Bridge Centre this weekend, Saturday/Sunday.

If there is any local 0-300 bbo'er lurking out there, I would be keen to play one of the days.

I never want to play in a 0-300 sectional again. :(

What happened? Was it particularly funny or just unethical?

Funny no, unless you have a warped sense of humour. Somewhat more unethical than a usual club game, ces't la vie . I found it incredibly frustrating, perhaps due to the fact that I was not playing with any of my usual partners who are not illegible to enter.
