1. Favorable, first chair, BBO MBC cross IMPs, don't know the opponents or partner but everyone seems competent or better, you hold

2. All, first chair, BBO MBC cross IMPs, you don't know much about these opponents either, you hold

1. If partner's hand strictly showing preemptive hand I bid 5, I was wondering how precision players deal with this(when 4 could be 3 trumps and enough HCP to play)

2.I pass in case partner want to X with a flat maximal hand with slow winners, which allows us win plenty of IMPs. In MP where the difference between 100 and 110 is large, the decision is much harder.

1) 5H
2) X playing maximal doubles, otherwise pass. FWIW if I pass and partner bids 3H, I am bidding game.

5H and pass (it's close-ish to 3H since that's "just competitive" here).

1. 5D comes to mind, but then again.. finding pard with xxx xxxxx Axx Kx seems like wishful thinking. Anyway, 5H or 5D depending on how I feel like.

2. Obvious 3H. You have a singleton in opps' suit.

So 5 was obvious on the first one. It made by setting up partners *&^&*^%( spades (he had QJ98x, QJxxx, Jxx, --). No swing.

On the second I bid 3, because I was afraid double wouldn't be interpreted correctly. The opponents had lost their minds and were in a 7-card fit, so while 3 made, 3 was going for a number. No swing.
