At Trick #9, ♠9.... Really! A 0% play. Why doesn't GIB take the 50% play (♥ finesse) to make 4♠ ??

4♠ by North played nine times... resulting in N-S +620 5x for 92.31% and N-S -100 4x for 5.13%

The small spade was no 0% line. It wins, whenever East has no more diamonds left or plays another suit for another reason... And it wins 3 imps compared to all others who try a heart finesse and are -2.
I guess gib was convinced that the finesse is much worse then 50 %, giving the bidding and the play so far.

Don't get me wrong, the line was poor, but nearly everybody had seen worse plays by gibs and humans.
