1D-(P)-1H-(P)
1NT-(2C)-2C
2C is not accepted
Since 3C is a narrower category than 2C and all 3C bids are also 2C bids. Is it ok to allow a 3C correction ?
Thanks

From Psych "I mean, Gus and I never see eye-to-eye on work stuff.
For instance, he doesn't like being used as a human shield when we're being shot at.
I happen to think it's a very noble way to meet one's maker, especially for a guy like him.
Bottom line is we never let that difference of opinion interfere with anything."

Since we would have to add a possibility to 3C (balanced raise to 3nt with a club stop), the premise doesn't seem to apply.

It depends on your agreement about 3♣. If it's only game forcing NMF, then the correction is allowed for the reason the OP stated. But if it could be something else, e.g. asking or showing a ♣ stop as aguahombre suggests, then it should be disallowed.

They had no special agreements, for standard bidder 3C is surely nmf here. Asking for a stopper or showing a stopper is useless here. with 4342 you can bid 3D and with 4333 its near pointless to ask for a stopper. (only if opener is 3442/3352 asking a stopper might work)

Does this post need editing?
1D(P)1M(P)
1N(2c)..Is it pointless to ask for a stopper with 4333 to avoid the opponents running 5 clubs vs. 3nt?
The point about responder being able to rebid 3D over 2C with 4-3-4-2 has a small hole, also. 3D is not forcing.
