Playing 2/1 in a Swiss teams event, here are more hands, on which I made calls that failed to meet partner's approval. What would you have done? Please mark alternatives out or 10, if you can spare the time.

1. Your call? e.g. 1N = non-forcing or 2♠ = nat 6-9.

2. Your call? e.g. Pass or 1♣ intending to pass the reply?

3. Your call? e.g. Pass or 2♥.

4a. After 1♦ your call? e.g. Pass, 1N, or 2♣.
4b. After your pass, is partner's 2♥ forcing and what is your call? e.g. Pass 2♠, 2N, 3♣, 3♦, or 4♦.
4c. Over your 3♣, is partner's 3♥ forcing and what is your call? e.g Pass, 3♠, 3N, 4♣, 4♦, or 5♦
4d. Over your 4♣, is partner's 4♦ forcing and what is your call? e.g Pass, 4♠, 5♣, or 5♦

4a- gotta to come in with 1NT- you leave too much space for opponents.

3. 2♥
4a 1NT, not close
4b Not forcing and agree with 3♣
4c Not forcing and would bid 3♠ intending to offer partner a choice between five of either minor
4d Not forcing and would raise to 5♦

"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

1. 2♠ - I don't see a good reason not to show my support.
2. Pass - I dont think we are likely to get a plus score if I open.
3. Pass - 2♥ can work , but more often it will get us too high.
4a. obvious 1NT.
4b. NF , but good hand.

1) 1NT=0, pass=10
If you don't support with this, what's the point of playing the system?

2) Pass=9 1♣=1
I don't fancy playing a NT contract with hand, would not fancy partner playing a suit contract on a 4/3 fit with such wonderful ruffing values in dimmy.

3) I would give some points to 2♥ first time round, but now if I bid I think partner will expect more values or more support.
Pass=8. 2♥=2

4a) 1NT=7, 2♣=2, 1♠=0, Pass=1

4b) Not forcing because if he wanted me to bid with nothing he would have opened 2♣
pass=0, 2♠=0, 2NT=3, 3♣=5, 3♦=2, 4♦=0

4c) Not forcing, but highly encouraging (I would take 3♠ to be forcing preference)
3♠=2, 3NT=1, 4♣=4, 4♦=2, 5♦=1

4d) Not forcing
pass=10, all others=0
Having bid twice when not forced, I have said enough.

** Added comment **
Having now read the other replies, I see it seems to be normal to award a total of more than 10 points, whereas I have spread my 10 points out among all the bids. Factor up accordingly.

Thank you for your answers. FWIW, here is how you would have fared.

1. Your call? e.g. 1N = non-forcing or 2♠ = nat 6-9.

I bid 1N so we missed a 4♠ game. I now agree with my partner that 2♠ is better.

2. Your call? e.g.. Pass or 1♣ intending to pass the reply?

Posters all judged this better than I did. I opened 1♣ and partner replied 1♥
At another table, this won the auction resulting in a plus score but at my table the auction proceeded
1♣ (_P) 1♥ (_P)
_P (_X) XX (1♠)
1N AP
My 1N was one down on good defence.

3. Your call? e.g.. Pass or 2♥?

I bid 2♥ partner had a singleton ♥ and bid 3♦ which made on a misdefence.
You have ♦ tolerance and, for us, 2♥ by a passed hand is not forcing so It seems to me that, at teams this is a closer decision than others think. Perhaps Cascade and fromageGB are right that it would have been better to open 2♥.

4a. After 1♦ your call? e.g. Pass, 1N, or 2♣?
4b. After your pass, is partner's 2♥ forcing and what is your call? e.g. Pass 2♠, 2N, 3♣, 3♦, or 4♦?
4c. Over your 3♣, is partner's 3♥ forcing and what is your call? e.g. Pass, 3♠, 3N, 4♣, 4♦, or 5♦?
4d. Over your 4♣, is partner's 4♦ forcing and what is your call? e.g. Pass, 4♠, 5♣, or 5♦?

I passed initially, which I thought would increase my chances of playing in ♣ at low level. 3♣ or 3♦ were the last making contracts.
I agree wth nigel_k and fromageGB that 3♠ suggests game aspirations. I took 4♦ to be a game try opposite an announced misfit, so I raised to 5♦. Partner had a disappointing 1-5-6-1 with 15HCP. so this was two down

1. 2♠ is better. 1NT clouds the fit and is VERY vulnerable to an overcall by 4th.

2. Wtp? Just pass.

3. hmmm.. I'm going with 2♥. If LHO happens to bid 2♠, we'll get to a nice 3/4♥ spot. If pard has no fit and rebids 3♦, we're fine.

4. I would have replied 1NT, but I think you bid fine. Now pass 4D. This hand is a trap and you must get out of it on the double.

2S. I can certainly live with 1NT. 1NT 8, 2S = 10
Pass
Pass 2H is a very poor bid. I agree, open it 2H.

#1 2S? WTP. Sry - If you play hide and seek, and it backfires, you take the blame,
1NT is antisystemic, a gamble, in a situation you know nothing, so it is a gamble.
#2 Pass, ... a matter of philosophy, but I pass.
#3 Pass, ... I dont have problems with 2H, but p may expect more.
#4a 1NT, the systemic call.
#4b No, 2H is nonforcing, p denied a forcing opening, I could be broke, 2H may our best spot
#4c Forcing? I guess so, 3C should show some tolerance for one of p suits, he is showing 65,
so why should I try to introduce a new suit (he may also have hidden club support for
all I know). My call ... 3NT
#4d Forcing? For Sure, 5D
