Let's assume you call this a single raise (I realize that isn't everyone's choice). Now, at Love All, how does your MP decision differ from IMPs?

(PS: yes, I know the poll does not include a "pass at both" choice. This is intentional, as your lack of spine obviously precludes the motor control necessary to operate a mouse).

I'd double at MPs and I agree with 2♠ at any form.

At IMPs this is much tougher. We don't make speculative penalty doubles, so partner might need to rely on us to have a stronger club holding. I would want partner pulling with a stiff club for instance in teams. So I'd pass at IMPs, but would be interested in other's opinions.

If 2♠ is constructive, I have no problems at each call.

I agree with everyone so far but double at any game.

By agreement it's not pure penalty and partner can pull with shape.

You need to introduce yourself to opponents eventually and acknowledge them pimpin ain't easy at this table. Passing here is like driving an 18 wheeler and letting mini coopers push you all over the lanes and not do anything about it. And if they make, we can always find something wrong with pd's 1♠ opener or his last pass.

That was the joke of course but seriously;

The guy could not bid 2♣ in previous turn, he is balancing and i am doubling whatever pd thinks it is and even if they landed on their lucky feet and found a 5-4 fit, and pd passed, i am playing trump each time i hold including the lead. I believe the +300 and +500s in long run worths the price of -470 now and then.
