What is the ACBL's proposed rules for discounted entry fee for juniors?
Is it discounted for anyone under 21 or anyone under 25 if going to school?
I can't remember.
Link would be nice too :-)
Thanks

I believe the actual amount of the discount is zonal, and determined by the sponsoring organization.
When I play the regional back home in Penticton, the regular entry of $12.50 is reduced to just $5.00.
The discount applies because I am 25 or under, but does not reflect whether I am in school or not.
I'm gonna miss that discount next year.

You are right, it is zonal. District 20 (Oregon, No. Calif., So. Washington, etc.) allows anyone 18 and under to play at Regionals for just $1.00. What a deal! I know this is right, I am the treasurer, lol.
I just looked at the fee schedule for the Orlando NABC and saw no mention of discounts for Juniors.

I found more info at the ACBL site. Juniors up to age 26, if still in school, pay $7.00 at NABC's for Regionally rated events. Check out www.acbl.org and click on the green box ACBL for Juniors for more info.
