If you are a B/C-level player in ACBL District 4 (Eastern Pennsylvania, South New Jersey, Deleware), please IM me if you are interested in partnering from time to time in local tournaments or on BBO.

I don't play much face-to-face given my family and job responsibilities, and in the two years I've lived here only have developed a short list of potential partners to call on when I do. I'd like to identify any BBOF-ers who are in the region (that is, likely decent players who are seeking to improve) to add to that list of potential partners.

Would definitely be interested in playing late evenings on BBO to confirm compatibility and develop understandings.

Furthermore, if you are interested in playing in the Solomon Teams, the Philadelphia Unit round robin, please contact me. I am running the event this year. The event is flighted, and there is plenty of room for more Flight B and Flight C teams. I am taking team entries now, and the first matches will be in October.

The event is not limited to Philadelphia Unit members. So, if you are within driving distance of most of the Philadelphia area and want to compete, please join us.

Typically, each team plays one match each month in players' homes or in bridge clubs (however the participants agree). Teams play 6 or 7 matches in the round-robin phase. The top 8 teams in Flights A and B are eligible to play in the KO phase of Flight A. The top 8 teams in Flight B are eligible to play in the KO phase of Flight B. Last year the Flight C teams, which compete on their own, played a complete round robin to determine the winner.

The finals of the Flight A teams was broadcast on BBO Vugraph each of the last two years, and we hope to do that again (despite the whipping that Rabinowitz' team gave my team).

Thanks Art. I have played in Solomon the last two years...we won Flight C both times. Still evaluating whether I'll be able to be on a team this year. Will let you know.
