In the individual BBO <edit> EXPRESS</edit>tournements you use a 2/1 card that includes Cappeletti or Hamilton vs 1NT openings
Well id say most of the time people blow this convention. They bid 2D with diamonds or 2S with majors
very annoying

ca la vie, indys are a shot in the dark at the best of times.
It is not because things are difficult that we do not dare, it is because we do not dare that they are difficult.

And do your partners also use a 2/1 card that includes Cappeletti or Hamilton vs 1NT openings?

Come on, indi's are a lottery. You might as well throw a frisbee and ask them to catch it without knowing where you are. Btw, who says that they don't use a card where 2♦ over opps' 1NT opening is natural, and they are complaining that you take this as artificial?

In the Express tournaments, which is presumably what we're talking about here, a stated condition of contest is that everyone agrees to play the 2/1 (GIB) convention card, which the system automatically loads for you.
