Let's suppose West cue-bids 5♣, is this 'correct' or is it an overbid? Does East get to the slam after that cue-bid? Is the slam good?

How do you assess this situation? A slam or a game

Also, he rates to not have a heart void when he leads the ♥3.

It's not a good slam; you have to lose a diamond, and you are better than 50% to lose a spade.

By FTL lore, the short suit total is +1, so a slam is possible on 19-21 working points. Having 3-4 WP ourselves, it's not too much to hope for the remaining 16 across since pard has made a strong bid.
I'd say try for slam. As it turned up, it's a close one at best. But I think it should still be tried for.

I agree with 5♣ by West, but following that IMHO East should bail out at 5♥ (and would be well advised to avoid any huddle). He's done enough. If partner passes that (which he will often do when lacking a ♠ control), slam rates to be sub-par.

Agree with 5♣ denying K♠, partner will bid 5♥ and there you'll play, but he might bid the good 6 with AKxxx in spades.

Must bid 5♣ as partner could easily have K instead of Q in spades or could have ♦ void. East has easy 5♥ over that with nothing extra.
