Temporary insanity? Tiredness? Low bood sugar? I have given such explanations for similarly rediculous bids (typically on my last day of a multi-day tournament).

A good reminder of why I should avoid Express/Indy tournaments.

There's a difference: Indys are bad bridge, but Express is not bridge.
