typ= thabk you partner
glp = good luck partner

also

ty= thank you
gl= good luck

and ther are many more, some of them not related to bridge:

gn= good night
hf= have fun

and the bridge ones
LTTC, 4sf, F1R, GF, nf, pre, wk, st (I donīt like st as strong, it always reminds me of street :rolleyes:), tsf, bcw, and many many more, if you donīt recognise them you probably donīt know the convention so donīt worry.

ROFL = rolling on the floor laughing

(please don't use these abbreviations to describe my bids)

There is a fairly long one that starts with an "a" that I see at the beginning of some posts. I don't know what it is and when I see it I think, wtf. <_<

more for the forums than for bbo (bridge base online), but...

wtp = what's the problem
obv = obviously
ldo = like, duh, obviously
afaik/afaics/afaict = as far as I (know/can see/can tell)
ainec = and it's not even close
imo/imho = in my (humble) opinion
fwiw = for what it's worth
