David Burn would approve of the brilliant sacrifice against the cold 2♥ (also on a Burnsian fit). On any lead in 2♥, declarer can elope with two ♦ ruffs while taking 2 ♠, 1 ♦, 1 ♣. Then he gets 2 more ♥ by force (pinning a quack).

It isn't like there are any good choices here. I suppose it has to bid 3C or 3D via Lebensohl ?

It was the double that was dumb-you only have 7 working HCP and barely OK shape. Even if opponent hadn't opened as an intermediate 2, suspect opponents missed game by conservativism.
