I am an advanced bridge player who often cannot find good partners on BBO because I don't play 2/1. I would like to learn it, but can't find an explanation of how it works and all of what's included. I already play SAYC Full, Inverted minors, NMF, 4th SF, Capp, RKC, etc. I'd like to study 2/1 by myself and then ask for help when I need it, but I would like to find some sort of directory on the Internet to get me started.

Get Marty Bergens book, 1nt forcing thats a good start and I think Mike Lawrences 2/1 workbook is good, I am getting that myself this week.

Get Mike Lawrence's bidding quizes on the uncontested auction and the contested auction.

Be aware, though, that most players use a lot of gadgets that Lawrence doesn't use. In particular, Lawrence plays 1M-2NT natural, which means that 1M-2m has a different meaning than in Hardy's method because it denies a hand suitable for a 2NT bid. I'm not sure if it makes sense to agree with a casual partner to play "2/1". What exactly does that mean?

WOW UNFORTUNATELY "sayc" is a RIGIDLY proscribed system with FEW conventions allowed ( IN Regionals in USA I have actually seen a YELLOW ( actually printed on YELLOW paper) card which has convention allowed on it -- BTW SATC (stands for 'Standard American Yellow Card BUT I think what you really mean is "Standard American" with MOST bells and whistles --- in which case I bellieve you are ¾of the way to being able to play 2/1 --- the books recommended will surely help you

6) Order the two over one syteme CD (make sure you have 34.95 in your BBO$ account

Or you can go to bridgebase.com and order it from there. Having Mike Lawerence as your partner/teacher will make up for the lack of good one otherwisee.

Yeah, definitely buy the Mike Lawrence CD from Bridge Base. It is the equivalent of about a 1,000 page book - clear, extensive with lots of quizzes.

I found free lessons for 2/1 once, which were very clear imo. You have to give your email address, and you'll get them emailed to you. Another positive point is that you don't get spam from them afterwards

Its sounds like adjusting from what you already play to playing 2/1 is not a huge transition - i.e. adding forcing 1nt and adding 2/1 as either 100% game forcing or forcing until rebid of responders suit.

2/1 is actually a catch cry for some variance in methods - and a lot of style questions / variations need to be discussed. And to play 2/1 well IMO there's a lot of 'system' that needs to be added to some sequences...
