I REALLY ENJOY the Robot Rebate tourneys; however, when GIBs force you into a bid .. .. .. AND how often can your side even get to slam if even 1 opp is bidding ? ? ?
GIB asked 4NT I had 2 GIB was a "passed" hand and had ZERO keycards in his hand - and continued on and asked 5NT -- down 5 or 6
ALSO when I bid a reverse BOT NEVER takes me to longer minor when it has support; & bids my Major w/ only 2 cards ? ? ? ? ?
THANK YOU FOR THIS FORUM & YOUR TIRELESS EFFORTS TO KEEP IMPROVING THE BOT SYSTEM FOR US TO ENJOY.
confession - even with that in mind - I do get angry when BOT forces me to an un-makeable contract

Does GIB pre-alert this to other GIBS?

Sounds like GIB thought you had 5, not 2, keycards. Strange that y'all would be slam-hunting off 3 keycards. NorthGIB probably misunderstood your previous bid. Can you show us the hand?

This is similar to another (non-GIB) thread where the conversation is about what South assumes for North when bidding 4♠. It seems to me that South is saying she wants to play game opposite a 5-count including ♠Qxxx. NorthGIB probably interprets 4♠ as 25+ total points, meaning South wants to play game opposite a yarb. (I can't see the actual script.) I think South's explanation is much more reasonable, and would be overwhelmingly what human bidders mean by that bid.
Of course, the contract is down 2, not down 5 or 6. It doesn't help to exaggerate.
How many human Easts wouldn't double?
