X & 4♣ over 3♠. I'd love to bid 3NT but I probably lost any chance after not opening 2NT, though I don't regret it much.

Also, he rates to not have a heart void when he leads the ♥3.

I don't have anything in particular to suggest (alright, double then 3NT, basically playing partner for the ♣A) but I wanted to post just to say that I have rarely seen such a horrible poll option offered as 'Abstain; would have opened 2N'!
That's impossible. No one can give more than one hundred percent. By definition that is the most anyone can give.

Tough hand. I am tempted by X then raise 3S to 4S, to be honest. If I don't do that, I give in to shameless matchpoint greed and would rather bid 3N than 4C.

I think this is tough, but x and then 3N over 3 ♠ seems to send the right message. I have to have something in spades for the x, and the delayed 3N should indicate some level of doubt and a trick source.
Will be interested in other POV's here.
LOL, its not every day a poll answer is a paradox.

Double then 4♣. I think that double followed by 3NT would suggest a suit that has at least some chance of running opposite xxx.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

Is 2NT for the 2 lowest (♦/♥) or the minors(♣/♦) assuming the former wouldn't 3♥ be a possible call?
