I just finished playing tournament #3448 Free Robot Duplicate. In all 8 hands, South had the most (or tied for the most) HCP. I declared all 8 hands, in slam twice and game the other 6. Was this a coincidence, or are some of these tournaments done "best hand" style?

I think all robot games are "best hand" except for 2 situations: playing with robots in the MBC, and Random Hand Robot Rewards.

That is too funny! In the last 30 days, I've played 16 of these games, declaring a total of 74 hands, for an average of 4.6 hands per 8, or 58% of the time. This was the first time I had declared all 8, and the first time with "a game in every hand". Somehow, I had decided that maybe "bad" hands were not given, but hadn't gotten as far as realizing that I always had the best hand.

When you bring up the information screen for each particular robot tournament it gives you the conditions of play, including whether it is best hand for south, or random dealt.
