Imp's:

Pass - (1) - Pass - (1NT)
Pass - (Pass) - X* - (Pass)
2 - (Pass) - Pass - (2)
???

*=Huddle

What information does the huddle convey?

That there was more than one possible action available. As to interpretations of the possible actions, that's a bit harder.

The Xer, without the huddle, should IMO have either had a penalty pass of 1 spade, or a hand too weak to bid a 1N overcall, but with that general distribution/strength location. Partner will tend to take out the double with a worthless distributional hand, and leave it in/lead spades with some values.

This is a duplicate thread, most of the reactions are in

Maybe a mod could close this thread?

I think a mod should lock up OleBerg instead
... and I can prove it with my usual, flawless logic.
