I have the forums bookmarked, so my main way to access the forums is to click on the bookmark.
The behavior I find strange is the following:
1) I open the forums.
2) I see that in Adv/Expert Class Bridge (for example), I have (let's just say) one unread post.
3) I open the post and read it.
4) I click on the bookmark to return to the forum homepage.
It still tells me I have an unread post.
I have to go BACK into A/ECB, hit F5 or refresh the browser, THEN go back to the homepage to 'clear' the unread message bit.
Just seems like a poor "feature" of the software that would be an easy fix.
Thoughts?
EDIT: Just clicked on the homepage and this post showed up as unread! Arrrrrrrgh!

Yes, I've found this annoying. For the unread status to update properly, you have to go up a single level in the hierarchy, you can't jump all the way to the top, unless you use the Mark All as Read.

I have the "view new posts" link bookmarked, works fine.

Thanks. This does indeed work fine since BBO Forums doesn't have a huge number of posts or threads each day.
I will switch to this method for now.
