Let's say I want to have a 10 to 12 tables swiss pairs event, what procedure should I follow? I read somewhere that some rounds are played without 'swissing' and then the swiss part is done according to a previous round. Is this correct? Is there a site with some info? How many boards to use, etc.
Thanks in advance.

Jeff Smith's Swiss Pairs Scorer is excellent, free, and has a users' document available to download.
