1 - (2) - 2 - (3)
3 - (pass) - 4

It was only down 5 across from ATx Q KJxxx Kxxx.

4 alerted as 5+ hearts, 4+ diamonds, 6-10 (I think).

I'm fairly sure the real problem is that 3 there shows like 16-18 to gib... I haven't got my finger on it yet, but sometimes those competitive bids to the 3 level show extras and sometimes they don't.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.

3m after 1m x 2m y 3m shows extra in gib's system. Obviously a maximum (or invitational) double should be better and 3m should be competitive as well. x and y stand for opp's interference. When it's 1M, the program properly shows that 3M is competitive, although invitational double is not implemented.

Thanks for the report. Yes, the biggest problem here is that 3 is defined as "4+ D, 16-17 total points". Fixing this definition should improve GIB's accuracy in responding to the 3 bid.
