I am very wary of doubling the opponents in competitive auctions with GIB as a partner. Almost always, GIB pulls the double.

Conversely, I am very wary of leaving in GIB's penalty doubles, as it never seems to have a penalty double.

However bizarre, at least this is a consistent position.

That auction seems like a great one to post in a "which is the worst bid" thread. Is it North's 3NT, which supposedly denied 5 ♥? Or how about East's 5♦ cue bid?
