unable to make myself invisible

I have been enjoying some of the robot tournaments lately. I would like to go "invisible" while playing, but the invisible box is greyed out on my profile selection possibilities.

Does anyone else have the same difficulty and is there a way around this?
I have Vista and suspect this is the problem as I did not have the problem on my last computer using XP.

You can only set invisibility when you log in.

You have to log off and log in again if you want to change your invisibility setting.

It would actually be a nice feature to be able to change invisibility setting while logged in. But maybe too hard to implement.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.
