Thanks to all the replies.

It seems so far 3C got the most vote (7 times) followed by 3S (6 times).

Pard's actual hand is:

Ax
Txxx
KTxx
Axx

So if you bid 3C or some GF bid then you may end up in slam, which will
make (S 2-3 split, both HQ and CQ onside).

If you bid NF 2C/2N/3S, you may endup in game.

Kind of a loaded way to analyze this.

If you do such-and-such, you might end up in slam, but then you might not.

If you do the other, you might end up missing slam, but then you might not.

Sounds like either route might end up in game or slam.

And we ask police officers, prosecutors, defense lawyers, and citizens to enforce or abide by it? The legislature continues to write unreadable statutes. Gibberish should not be enforced as law."

Sounds like either route might end up in game or slam.

And either game or slam might make 10, 11, or 12 tricks. Anything could happen!

Having opened 1, I now bid 3. Probably the first time in like I make such a jump bid on 3 cards lol.

(Would not open 1, though.)

HUH? Let's see, here. A hand with six spades, and on the razor's edge between game force and not game force if partner has a response, would open something other than 1S? Only if playing a forcing club system.
