6C.
Given you description, 3D is natural GF, and certainly not a splinter.
But whatever - 6C basically covers all bases, as long as p opens 1D
with 4-4 in the minors.
With kind regards
Marlowe
PS: Was not sure, if the question was directed at BI audience so I had
wriitten it as hidden text.

Make your sane call for what the auction shows 3♥ and be ready to pass 3NT

Meh. Do we trust p to understand and respond sensibly to something like 3♥? If so, I plump for that option and postpone my decision.
If p doesn't understand and respond sensibly to things like 3♥, but we think that his/her declarer play is not too bad, then maybe punt 6♣.
Otherwise 3NT seems the best hope for a reasonable score.

3NT, I am the hand hog at this table.

I'm happy getting to my 9-trick game opposite a partner who doesn't understand reverses. I doubt we'll have a legit auction to slam even if it's making.
I also like my chances of making 9 tricks in my 9-trick game better than I like partner's.

When I have seen people who don't understand reverses make the jump reverse they usually have been making a natural game forcing bid. So I'll punt 6♣ and hope that if this was somehow a mini-splinter partner returns to spades and it makes.
Please let me know about any questions or interest or bug reports about GIB.
