I think it's bad, and it's definitely weird, 2♣ on 4522 is the normal rebid. What's the point if 2♣ can still be a doubleton anyway so you aren't even fixing a problem?

I play gazilli, 2C does not promise clubs, 2H shows 0-7 points, 2S shows both minors, weak, and 3C shows clubs, weak.

There are worse things to do
, it depends on how often you pass 2♣, I have the impression that I pass 2♣ much more than most of the forum crew.
