In clocked games, sometimes we want to click on a link.

Joys of online bridge, if you are playing with screens you can never go off while dummy and watch belly dancers.

But in the web version, those utube links knock us off bbo.

Partner and i are naive users, i think he is on internet explorer, and i am on firefox.

Not much room for experimenting because there is a high chance of not getting the seat back when returning to the game.

Any suggestions?

Babalu just wanted a shoulder to cry on, is that too much to ask for?

You should open a new "Tab" or "Window" in Firefox and surf there. This should prevent you from losing BBO in the other window.
The same is to be said about the Internet Explorer. Version 8 has "Tab"s too otherwise you need to open a new "Window".

When I click on links in BBO chat, it pops up a window saying that it will follow the link in a new window. That prevents it from killing your BBO session.
