Scoring: Rubber

Diamond interference is inevitable of course, but I couldn't help wondering where we'd end up if we bid this freely...

Will post what actually happened later.

I guess no-one's disagreeing with 4S.

In fact partner (south) opened and the auction went:

1C-p-1H-2D-3C-5D-6C!

I'm not sure partner's hand warranted the rebid, but I'm glad she made it as 6C makes whenever the club queen drops, which is a 50% chance.

Change the diamond queen for an ace and declarer can also pick up a 0-4 split on the right against any lead. (As it stands, this works against a non-diamond lead).

As the cards actually lay, 6S also makes, but that's a much longer shot!
