Scoring: IMP

1-1-1-2
3-P-3-P
?

1 showed 5 cards , so double by opener would show "takeout with less than 3 "

1. Do you think the 3 bid already showed 6-5 ?
(I think you would double with 5-4 minors, what about 6-4?)
2. What's your choice now : 4? 4? anything else?

I think double of 2 should suggest two spades, so 3 might be a strong 1246. However, 5-6 is quite likely.

I'd bid 4 now. In context, my spades are very good and my minors quite poor, so I wouldn't continue to look for another trump suit.
... that would still not be conclusive proof, before someone wants to explain that to me as well as if I was a 5 year-old. - gwnn

Agree with gnasher. 3 can definitely still be a nice pure 4-6.
